Ben is a gentle giant of a horse. He rides and is mild-mannered. Ben has some anxiety issues being out in the pasture, and actually prefers to be in the barn. Our barn manager has been working with him to try and overcome this. Every once in awhile, Ben will show some mild food-aggression, but if he is corrected, he behaves himself. He absolutely loves being the center of attention and munching on treats. He did very well with the vet, and got a 5 star review from the farrier when he picked his feet up and practially handed them to him. Ben is gelded and medically UTD. This is all included in his adoption fee of $500.Adoption processAdoption fees are: Cats over a year old $70, Kittens under 1 year old $125, (ALL ADOPTED CATS MUST LEAVE THE SPCA IN A CARRIER) Dogs over a year old $155, Puppies under a year are $275. (Fees may vary depending on age, breed, if adopter adopts multiple animals, etc) Feel free to download an adoption application to bring with you when you come to our shelter by visiting our website at www.medinacountyspca.com and click on the "adopt" page.Shelter locationWe are open to the public every day of the week from 12-4 except for Mondays & Wednesdays. Besides having a shelter full of animals, the Medina County SPCA has two or three cats at the Medina Petsmart, Medina Pet Supplies Plus and Wooster Petsmart on a regular basis.
